As I thought about the Colossal Coaster World theme, I felt it would be a good time to emphasize family time and family missions. Plans are for:
1. Amusement park activities (found at Bins, Bags, & Boxes).
2. Make pizzas at the pizza shop.
3. Puppet shows & a puppet workshop. Make Bible character sack puppets. Learn about how missionaries and churches use puppets to tell people about Jesus.
4. Camping and picnic. Role play campground missions.
5. Photo booth with costumes & accessories. Role play Bible stories about Paul.

Diorama parts from Canon Creative Park and some graphics from Print Shop. Difficult. Time consuming.
I want to thank Mandi Pearce for allowing me to share her really cute carousel on saltydiamonds. I love this carousel. Thanks to her mom, for all the rocky horses & inspiration.
I will be using many of my Coney Island supplies I made for Big Apple VBS 2011. A Coney Island scene can be found at Bins, Bags, & Boxes.
LAUNDRY HAMPER ROLLER COASTER CAR
I found this hamper at the Dollar Tree for $1. The bottom of the hamper is the front of your coaster car. The back of your car will be open. Cut out an area in 2 opposite side panels of the hamper, but do not cut away all of the netting. The netting provides stability for the car. These will be the top and bottom of your car and will be the area for the child to fit into. One poster board will be enough for both side panels of the car. I laid the hamper on the poster board and drew around the wire frame of one side and cut that out. Then I drew a car and cut out an indented area in the oblong pattern. I punched out 2 inch circles for the wheels with a paper punch and added paper punch daisies for the hub caps and for car decorations. The poster board is simply clipped on to the wire frame with clip type paper clips. Add a 2 ft long strong cord to each side panel of the car. Adjust to the child. If you use acrylic cord, you can melt the ends with a match to prevent fraying of the cord. BE CAREFUL. It is very hot for a few minutes. The hamper folds for easy storage.

TRANSFORMER BOX
This same box was used for the ticket stand, the jail for Paul and Silas, and a zoo cage all in one week, simply by making removable wrap arounds and signs. It has also been used in other years as a skyscraper and zoo.
