A thrift store toy box bench with book pockets on each side makes a perfect pew. The pulpit was a quick craft paper cover up of 2 commercial milk crates bolted together and a slanted cake stand for the top of the pulpit. The church window was an art project with colored scraps of construction paper laid on top of clear contac paper with a frame laid on top of that.

Hats, purses, shawls, gloves, heels, jewelry can be used to dress the girls. Jackets, vests, suspenders, hats, pocket watches can dress a boy. Have your Bible story time, music, and offering time in your little people's "big church".

It can be a fun time for everyone to dress up and join in the service.

I wanted a church for the Bible story, A Church That Helped. I had a Fisher Price school that I converted into a church and we made wooden pews & a pulpit.The microphone is a q-tip, cut to size and inserted into a tiny wooden bowl from craft store. Tiny Bibles & Hymnals are 1/2 inch by 1/2inch (1 inch wide when open) and font was 6, the smallest I had, Music stand is made with a pipe cleaner. Can use the church with any Bible story that emphasizes church. Photo on right can be enlarged.
